October 19, 2019 at 9am - I have summit Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

It’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve returned from East Africa. The whole journey has been so incredible and so surreal. I don’t even know where to begin. I left Canada in a bit of a rough spot in my personal life and from the beginning of this trip… it has been more than I’ve ever expected. It’s been a deep and personal journey that I’ve gone through and it’s something that I have NO regrets doing and I’ve come back a person that has a different perspective on life and I’m much better for it.

Anyways, here’s a bunch of photos from my trip. I loved my group they were a great bunch of people from all over the world that I got to hang out with. My trip experience would not have been the same with out them.

Here’s our starting point from Machame Gate.

And we all made it down the mountain at Mweka Gate! We were almost all sunburnt! I’ve never had such bad sunburns on my face before. but as you can see… we’re all just itching to get a hot shower, comfortable bed and a hot meal.
